Swancon 2025 done! It was lovely to catch up with a bunch of people, watch a lot of panels and presentations on topics such ‘Living In A Dystopian Present’, ‘Horror Fiction Stereotypes & Cliches’, and ‘AI: from Science Fiction to Fact of Life’. Always great to listen to the discussions and percolate story ideas.

Today I did a Q & A panel on Traditional vs Self Publishing – Prose and Cons with Carol Ryles, Tansy Raynor Roberts, Jess Gately, Andrew Harvey, and moderated by Bec Handcock, in which we tried our best to convey as much information as possible in the 1 hour time slot.

Thanks to all the Swancon volunteers for making it happen!

L-R: Carol Ryles, Tansy Raynor Roberts, Jess Gately, Andrew Harvey, me!
