Another belated post . . . I was pleasantly surprised to discover during the Swancon convention that I had been shortlisted for a Tin Duck Award for my novel The Time of the Stripes. The award was eventually won by Claire G Coleman for her novel Terra Nullius, an Indigenous Sci-Fi. I was very happy to have been shortlisted – it was my third year in a row!
