Shortlisted for a Tin Duck Award!

I’m excited to announce that AURORA: DECIMA (Aurora 6) has been shortlisted for the 2017 Tin Duck Awards (the WA Science Fiction Foundation awards) for ‘Best WA Professional Long Written Work‘. Congrats to my fellow finalists: Glenda Larke, Juliet Marillier, and Lee Battersby. They are all multi-award winning writers, so it really is fantastic just to be on the same ballot as them. This is my second year in a row being a finalist. A huge thanks to all those who nominated me! And lastly, a big congrats to the finalists in all the other categories too.

Amanda is an author and screenwriter. She is Tin Duck Award winner, an Aurealis and Ditmar Awards finalist and author of several science fiction novels, including THE SUBJUGATE which has been optioned for TV. She is also a two-time pitch finalist for Universal (AU) and AACTA.
