I’m excited to announce that AURORA: DECIMA (Aurora 6) has been shortlisted for the 2017 Tin Duck Awards (the WA Science Fiction Foundation awards) for ‘Best WA Professional Long Written Work‘. Congrats to my fellow finalists: Glenda Larke, Juliet Marillier, and Lee Battersby. They are all multi-award winning writers, so it really is fantastic just to be on the same ballot as them. This is my second year in a row being a finalist. A huge thanks to all those who nominated me! And lastly, a big congrats to the finalists in all the other categories too.

Thanks Elizabeth! I’m thrilled to be on the same ballot as those names – although I don’t think I’m worthy of their status! LOL.
