Last Saturday I appeared at Oz Comic Con in Perth, moderating a ‘Perth Science Fiction and Fantasy Showcase’ panel with the multi-award winning (R-L in photo below): Juliet Marillier (fantasy author), Glenda Larke (fantasy author) and Jonathan Strahan (sci-fi editor and podcaster). We had a great chat about how each got their start in the biz, their journey since, career highlights and advice for new starters, among many other things. It was a really great discussion that I hope inspired future writers in the audience. This was my second appearance at Oz Comic Con and I look forward to doing it again next year!
