I received some awesome and totally unexpected news today. The Subjugate has been shortlisted for Best Novel at the Ditmar Awards!

The Ditmar Awards recognise achievement in Australian science fiction and science fiction fandom, and the ceremony is always a part of the Australian Natcon – which this year is the Continuum Convention in Melbourne.

A huge thank you to everyone who voted for The Subjugate, and a massive congratulations to all the other nominees. Not only am I listed among a bunch of extremely talented Australian authors, but I am proud to also call them friends.

Special shout out to Marc Gascoigne, Angry Robot Books and Alex Adsett who can share in the nomination celebration!
