Australian Writers’ Guild

By January 24, 2020Latest News

Good news! I’ve joined the WA Committee of the Australian Writers’ Guild this year and I’m looking forward to meeting a bunch of excellent performance writers across film, tv, radio, theatre, video and new media.

Part of our job on the Committee is to arrange events that educate, inspire and connect writers. This year we will be running a series of ‘Meet The Creator‘ events, and the FIRST of these is quickly approaching!

Come and join us on Saturday 15 February at the Corner Gallery to meet St. John Cowcher. He’s a writer, actor, theatre-maker and puppeteer who has worked for many companies including Black Swan Theatre, Barking Gecko, and The Last Great Hunt. He’s an award winner and multi-nominee for the Martin Sims Award and has a new show called Ragnar√łkkr – a metal-musical retelling of the classic Norse myth that starts its season at the Blue Room Theatre as part of this year’s Fringe World Festival 2020.
