Come join me for a speculative fiction masterclass!

Thanks to Writing WA, I’ll be presenting a 3-hour masterclass on writing speculative fiction. In this class I’ll cover:

  • Understanding the various genres and sub-genres of speculative fiction in order to meet reader expectations;
  • Generating story ideas;
  • The right format for your story;
  • Research tips;
  • How to approach agents and publishers;
  • How to prepare for a writer’s life and the publishing journey.

And it’s not just for prose writers, all the tips and tricks I’ll share can be applied to screenwriting and comics too.
